Darwin Days 7-8 February 2011
Meet your colleagues and many others!
On 7 and 8 February 2011 the Darwin Center for Biogeosciences will have her first lustrum conference. The Darwin Days 2011 will be partly overlapping with the annual Ecology meeting, organized by the Netherlands Ecological Research Network (NERN). The conference will be open to all scientists interested in biogeosciences, both from the Netherlands and abroad.
The Darwin Days 2011 will thus provide an excellent opportunity to meet other researchers working on the interface between life and earth sciences!
7 February: first Darwin Day
The focus of the first Darwin Day will be on Darwin Center’s research topics (open 'Darwin' session). Keynote speakers will be three experts in their fields, who together cover a wide range biogeosciences:
8 February: second Darwin Day overlapping with NAEM
The second Darwin Day will be largely overlapping with the annual Ecology meeting. However, it starts with a morning session on Darwin Center research (open 'Darwin' session). The rest of the day comprises a plenary morning session and two times four parallel sessions on a wide range of topics.
Two of these parallel sessions cover specific ‘Darwin Center’ themes:
But also the other six sessions will be of interest to many of you.
Location: De Werelt, Lunteren, the Netherlands.
