Five Darwin Days grants for Msc students
Are you currently involved in, or supervising an MSc-project?
This year we would like to provide the opportunity for MSc students to participate in the two-days scientific conference of the Darwin Center for Biogeosciences, on 7 and 8 February 2011.
During the Darwin Days you will be able to:
- Meet some of those ‘important’ people whose papers you have been reading
- Find out what other interesting studies are carried out by researchers
- And present your own results to the experts in your field
It might also be one of the best places to look around for interesting PhD projects.
The Darwin Center for Biogeosciences provides five grants for enthusiastic MSc students who are eager to present their results in a poster-session.
All you have to do is:
- Ask your (Darwin) supervisor whether he or she would be willing to pay for your fee (and poster-printing costs) in case that you are not selected for the grant and
- Send the name of your supervisor, your motivation and an abstract of your work to darwinfo@geo.uu.nl before November 30th.
