Exclusive guided tours through Naturalis’ collection tower
In the ‘International
Year of Biodiversity 2010’ the general public will be able to have an exclusive view
of Darwin’s treasure house: the Naturalis collection tower. This unique
collection of natural history specimens is normally only accessible to
scientists.
Hundreds of stuffed animals,
thousands of fossils, millions of insects and countless anecdotes. Small groups of visitors
will be taken around collections that include centuries-old specimens collected
during expeditions full of hardships. The tour also visits the world’s largest
collection of fossil mammoth bones.
When: every Friday afternoon at 1.30 p.m. and 3.00 p.m.

fee: 9 euros. Tickets available in the Museum on Fridays.
